This is a great soap for all skin types, but excellent for dry skin. Almond Oil
is an outstanding humectant with natural water-retention properties,
it is an oil extracted from the seeds of sweet almonds and used as an
emollient.
Almond oil is an emollient that prevents dehydration
of skin, it is often used to treat very dry skin. Avocado oil soothes
and softens your skin and is rich in vitamins A, D, and E; contains
proteins, lecithin, and amino acids. This highly therapeutic oil is said
to have healing and regenerating properties. Coconut oil is a natural
oil derived from coconuts, acts as a surfactant, and has good cleansing
properties.
Hazelnut oil reduces oiliness, refines pores, and normalizes and heals. Hazelnut oil is moisturizing and easily absorbed by
the skin. Palm Oil is from the fruit of a palm tree. When used in
soaps, palm oil creates a hard, long-lasting bar of soap that is mild
and cleanses well.
Palm oil has similar characteristics to tallow in soaps, and has been used in soap making since about 1850. Finally some Pure Coconut Oil, tea tree, copaiba oils, Organic dried Açaí and Camu-Camu, and Acai Berry Butter from the Brazilian Rainforest.

Our Lye Soap is most likely a little milder than Grandma's was.

We use the "cold processing" method called Saponification and do not add heat or chemicals to the soap pots. This process produces natural glycerin, which is a by-product of the soap-making process. We only use the highest quality organic therapeutic grade essential oils Unlike most soap companies on the market today, we do not remove this glycerin from our soap because it is a humectant. This helps moisturize the skin and can be gentle enough for even the driest and most sensitive of skin. We do not add preservatives, colorants, or fragrance oils to our products. Our soap is made with your skincare - no harmful synthetics, just pure ingredients straight from nature.
