Almond Oil For The Skin
Almond oil is good for all skin types, since it moisturizes well but
is light enough not to make oily or combination skin feel greasy. It
relieves itching, irritation, and inflammation; softens, soothes, and
helps to restore moisture to dry skin; and helps repair dry, flaky, or
cracked skin on knees, elbows, or heels. Pure almond oil goes rancid
quickly, so it should be used as soon as possible, or used in blends
with an antioxidant oil such as vitamin E to help preserve it.
Wrinkles – used at night after cleansing the face, a
light coating of almond oil will reduce the appearance of lines and
wrinkles, as well as helping to tighten the skin
Under-eye circles – a few drops of almond oil mixed
with a few drops of raw honey and gently applied to dark under-eye
circles at night will reduce puffiness and lighten them. The skin under
your eyes stretches easily, so be VERY gentle when applying this.
